Eat local and raise $$$ for La Ballona this November

This month, THREE local businesses are running fundraisers for La Ballona Elementary School.

First, Manana Coffee has agreed to donate 100% of the proceeds from their Thanksgiving pie sale. From November 1 through November 22, stop in to place your order at Manana Coffee (Washington Blvd. and Berryman Ave., just 1 mile west of school). Choose from cherry, apple, heirloom pumpkin or vanilla bourbon pecan pie.

Be sure to order in person before Monday, November 22, then pick up your pie on Thursday, November 25. More information can be found on our event calendar.

For the entire month of November, Quicksand will donate 20% of qualifying orders to La Ballona. Stop in or call in your order and let them know you’d like your order to be added to La Ballona’s promotion. If you’re ordering online, be sure to use the promo code “lions” before checking out.

And from November 15 through November 21, Sharky’s Woodfired Mexican Grill in Marina del Rey will donate 15% of qualifying orders to our school. Sharky’s is hosting a fundraising competition to see which schools can raise the most money. La Ballona has already won in round 1 and we face a new challenger this month. The school that raises the most money overall will earn an additional $500 donation!
