Astronomy Night / Noche de Astronomia
March 11 2022 @ 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
La Ballona families are invited to a night of stargazing and scientific discovery on Friday, March 11!
Volunteers from the South Bay Astronomical Society will bring their telescopes for children and parents to get a closer look at the stars and planets that make up our galaxy. We’ll also feature live presentations on the Magic of Science in our cafeteria, and food will be available for purchase from local food vendors VCHOS Pupuseria Moderna and Speedy Dog, Home of the World Famous Bacon Dogs, who have graciously agreed to donate 20% of the night’s sales to our school.
You can also stock up your home library with our always awesome $1 Book Sale and purchase La Ballona t-shirts, hats and more from our spirit wear store.
