The La Ballona PTA hosts an online auction every fall. Items ranging from classes and handmade goods to gift certificates and unique local experiences are sold to the highest bidder, and like all of our PTA events, all proceeds benefit La Ballona Elementary School.

This year’s La Ballona Online Auction
opens Friday, October 21, 2022, at 8:00 a.m. PT and
closes Sunday, November 6, 2022 at 8:00 p.m. PT

The La Ballona Online Auction runs for two weeks. Like many online auctions, the bidding gets fast and furious in the final minutes of the auction, so be sure to log on before the auction closes to ensure you get the items you want!

Auction items can be purchased by anyone, and you’re sure to find something for everyone among the wide assortment of items available. Get a jump start on your holiday shopping AND support a good cause!

Teacher Treats

In addition to restaurant gift cards, event tickets and memorabilia, the La Ballona Online Auction features our always popular Teacher Treats, where students and their families can bid to be PE Coach for a day or enjoy an outing with a teacher or school staff member. The best part is that these Teacher Treats are “buy one, give one,” meaning that in addition to the winning bidder, one additional student will enjoy the same experience! One winning student will be drawn randomly from the teacher’s classroom in a raffle drawing held after the close of the auction. So please give generously, as our teachers and staff are actually donating TWICE for each of these!

Donate goods or services to the La Ballona Online Auction

If you have items to donate, we would welcome them! For guidance on the kinds of items we’d love to have, you can check out our auction catalog to see what we’ve got so far or review our list of suggestions below.

The more items in our auction, the more money we can raise for our students.

Donate an item to the auction
  • gift cards (from restaurants to retail, these are great auction items!)
  • tickets/passes to events or exhibitions
  • new items (everything from automobile accessories to zebra-striped rugs are welcome!)
  • vintage items in great condition (like a designer outfit or accessory you only wore once?)
